Liz Mathewson:  Co-Founder

Liz is a native Northern-Virginian.  She has been involved in the sport of cheerleading from the tender age of 4!  She was a competitive gymnast and all-star cheerleader for many years!  Liz graduated from George Mason University with a degree in Communications and Public Relations, and a minor in Dance.  She was a full-scholarship athlete and a member of GMU's Nationally Ranked Coed Team for 5 years.  While cheering in college, she began her all-star coaching career.  In May, 2002, she became a co-founder of Cheer Dynasty.  Liz currently travels Virginia and the East Coast as a choreographer for many high schools, rec and all-star organizations.  She is the most utilized music producer in Northern Virginia.  Liz is NCSSE Master Certified, AACCA Certified and USAG Certified.  Liz is a Founding Member of the USASF - with credentials through level 5 as well as an Inaugural Member of the NACCC.

Nicole LaBier:  Co-Founder

Nicole is a native Northern Virginian.  She cheered locally at Gar-Field HS for four years, and then attended the University of South Carolina where she studied Physical Education and Psychology.  Nicole is a former competitive gymnastics coach for Capital Gymnastics National Training Center, with over 15 years experience in gymnastics.  She has attended USA Gymnastics National Congress, was certified in USAG PDCP courses, and was a USAG Skill Evaluator.  Nicole has been coaching competitive cheerleading for over 14 years.  She coached and ran her first all-star program in 1996 and then became the head coach/director of Capital Cheer from 1999-2002.  In 2002 Nicole became a co-founder of Cheer Dynasty.  Nicole is NCSSE Master Certified, a Nationally Certified Judge, and featured in American Cheerleader Magazine's Who's Who 2004-2009.  Nicole is a founding member of the USASF - with credentials through level 5, as well as an Inaugural Member of the NACCC.  She is also CPR/First Aid Certified.

Jeff Mathewson:  Co-Founder

Jeff was born and raised in Northern Virginia.  Jeff spent his first 18 years of life playing baseball and football!  He was a gold medallist member of the Korean Olympic baseball team in 1993.  He became involved in cheerleading when he attended George Mason University.  Jeff studied Health and Fitness Recreation Resources Exercise Science / Health Promotions.  He quickly became part of GMU�s Nationally Ranked Coed Team and at the same time working as a head instructor, college staff member and certified judge for UCA!  He got involved in the competitive world of All-Star cheering soon after.  In May, 2002, he became a co-founder of Cheer Dynasty.  Jeff is NCSSE Master Certified, AACCA Certified and USAG Certified.  Jeff is a Founding Member of the USASF - with credentials through level 5, as well an Inaugural Member of the NACCC.

Demetrius Golden:  Co-Founder

Demetrius has an extensive sports background in football, basketball, and wrestling.  He is a former youth football coach and mentor.  Demetrius started coaching competitive cheerleading in 2002.  He is a co-founder of Cheer Dynasty and coaches the competitive teams and tumbling.  Demetrius is a founding member of the USASF - with credentials through level 5, as well as an Inaugural member of the NACCC.

Dominique Baptiste

Dom is a former UCA Staff member as well as a Head Instructor for 6 years.  Beforte moving to Virginia he was a Senior Team Coach and Tumbling Instructor at Connecticut Spirit All Stars.  Dom has also coached at the Collegiate Level, most recently for Sacred Heart University.  He currently works with the teams and does privates at Dynasty.

Annie Ibach

Annie is an alumni of Cheer Dynasty, where she was a member of the Senior All Girl Team the opening year. She has been involved in the competitive world of all-star cheerleading since she was 13 years old. As graduate of Coastal Carolina University, she received her degree in Communication with a minor in Journalism. She cheered at Coastal Carolina for 3 years; competing in several National Championships.  Annie joined the Dynasty staff in 2007 and is happy to be back with her Royal Family!

Aaron Jackson

Aaron has over 15 years of tumbling experience; with a 10 year background in gymnastics and as former competive elite gymnast.  He has cheered competitively for 7 years, competing at The Cheerleading Worlds 2 years in a row!  Aaron is a former Coastal Staff member and NCA Staff member where he received the NCA Best Rookie Tumbler Award in 2003.  He has coached at Camp Woodward for the past 4 years - receiving the Camp Woodward Top Instructor of the Week Award in 2008!  Aaron has been coaching for over 9 years in which he has coached numerous teams to win both regional and national titles!  

Lance Jackson

Lance joined Cheer Dynasty in the very beginning as a member of our very first Senior Coed team!  Lance began his cheerleading career as captain of the Osbourn Park HS Cheer team.  Lance is currently a staff member for UCA and studying Multimedia & Web Design at the Art Institute of Washington.  He has his own music production company called Spirit Jamz � bringing you the best in cheerleading music!  His music clients reach as far as Dallas, Texas!  Lance is NCSSE Master Certified.  He is USASF credentialed through level 5.

Ashley McClendon

Ashley has been a competitive cheerleader for over ten years.  She is a Cheer Dynasty Alumni and was on the first senior all girl team as well as on Excalibur (senior co-ed).  She is also a former coach of Cheer Dynasty�s Tiny Treasure team. Ashley is currently studying Physical Education/Teacher Education while head coaching the JV team at Centreville High School.

Melanie May-Salins

Melanie was a competitive gymnast for over 10 years.  She was a level 9 gymnast with numerous Virginia State Titles.  She has been coaching gymnastics and tumbling for more than 10 years.  Melanie joined Cheer Dynasty in 2002 bringing her expertise to our athletes!  She specializes in our youth programs where she starts these athletes out strong!  She�s known for teaching it correctly and quickly!  Melanie has experience in Sensory Motor Integration Therapy.  Melanie attended George Mason University.  She is USAG Professional & Safety Certified.

Luis Mejias

Luis has been coaching All Star Cheerleading for 10 years.  He started his cheerleading career in 1994 when he coached for Gym Inc., in Hampton VA.  He then moved to Northern Virginia in 1996 where he attended and cheered for George Mason until 1998.  During that time he became a UCA staff member and continued for 7 years.  While on UCA Staff he was Rookie of the Year and two time Vet of the Year as well as a head instructor.  In 2002 he joined the Cheer Madness family and coached until Madness became Dynasty in 2007.

Jenny Morgenthaler

Jenny has been a competitive cheerleader since the 3rd grade.  She has been at Cheer Dynasty since the very beginning in 2002!  She competed on Dynasty's first Senior All-Girl Team, as well as on Excalibur her senior year of high school.  Last year she went to The Cheerleading Worlds with the Open Team.  Jenny has coached camps at Cheer Dynasty for the past two years, and is now a team coach and class instructor.  She graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelors Degree in Special Education, and is currently student teaching.  Jenny also just got married in March 2009 and cannot wait to see what exciting new things this year brings!
